week 4

On 28th June the pups were moved from the whelping room to the puppy-pen in the living room. We also managed to get the puppy-cam online that same evening. The puppy-cam is switched off  at around midnight to give them some privacy:-) On 4th July they had their first solid meal and they really enjoyed it. We feed them RODI, which is meat and it comes in 100 gram hamburgers.

After the meal there is a bit of cleaning up to do as they have made rather a mess out of the affair. So out they go to join their mum while we clean the puppy-pen. At this stage Glenara does not stay with the pups all the time as they have sharp nails and their teeth are coming out too. We start cutting their nails from day 10 and do this regularly.
